Chasin' Southern Rays at the beach!

  Most people travel to the beach to soak up the sun rays and enjoy the saltwater. The SHO crew did just that but they were after a little different kind of ray! Recently SHO Staffers Brandon & Cody Elmore, and SHO cameraman Scott Elmore booked a different kind of fishing trip while on their family vacation in beautiful Panama City, Florida. They hooked up with Captian Jeff White of Fishhunter Enterprise and were in for a trip of a lifetime. Jeff immediately presented himself with nothing but the very best of southern hospitality to the SHO crew!

   Bowfishing involves getting close enough to the fish to shoot an arrow, that is attached to the bow, into the fish. Very simular to spearfishing only you are not emerged in water and you have to compisate for light refraction, which is easly taught. By not going under water this sport can be participated in by everyone. Here at Fishhunter Enterprise we would enjoy providing you with the wonderful experience of bowfishing. Our guided trips include License,all gear, deckhand, and drinks. Before your trip we will have a short instructional class to get you familar with the equipment and some insight on what to expect. We offer services for individuals and groups up to 6 people. We offer launch locations in Panama City and Port Saint Joe Florida. This allows us to better accomidate your vacation plans.

   As the spring months start to dwindle by and Summer is at full peak, its that time of year again to get those supplements and attractants out in the field.  While strategically placing trail cameras, supplying attractants, taking scent precautions, hanging stands, and anxiously waiting in hopes that a mature buck shows himself when the time comes is all part of a successful season.  Trail camera scouting is a vital part of today's success in the outdoor industry.  Learning usual feeding times by crucial camera placement, could mean the difference of being close to bedding areas and travel corridors or not.  Whether it is simply checking a trail camera, or refreshing an attractant station we should all still continue to accommodate all means of scent control.  We want that mature buck to feel right at home!  We are all just like kids on Christmas checking trail cameras, you just never know what will show up!

Take a look at this nice East Tennessee buck.  He was first captured on the SHO cameras just over 3 weeks ago.  One doesn't really realize how much growing goes on in that time until you have regular visitors on your Trail Camera.  In just 3 weeks the antler growth is great from the awesome character around the bases to the large brow tines and other tine length, and still has some growing to go!

Here are a few more East Tennessee bucks that wouldn't hurt our feelings at all to show up during season.  Most of these deer have shown up on the SHO cameras in the years past, and we just haven't been able to connect during hunting season.  It's almost that time.....it's almost SHO-TIME!
